ViA and the Flemish government: ViA, which stands for Vlaanderen in Actie (Flanders in Action), is a project by the Flemish government that aims to bring Flanders to the top five regions of Europe by the year 2020. ViA wants Flanders to unleash its full potential in scientific, economical, ecological, educational, social, international and governmental domains.
To transform the concept of TimeBank – the original name of Time4Society – into a lifelike and stately organisation, the so-called founding partners were brought together for the first time in April 2007. The Flemish Government, more specifically Flemish minister of Social Economics Kathleen Van Brempt, granted a subsidy to finance the start-up of Time4Society. Time4Society is very grateful for the continued support provided by ViA and the Flemish government. The Time4Society Days, Awards and Fundraiser would not have been possible without the aid of ViA and the Flemish government.www.vlaandereninactie.be

Accenture: Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company that took part in no less than 6 Time4Society projects in the course of 2009. More than 100 of its employees realised useful and socially relevant projects for a number of organisations. They embellished an institution for families in need of care, helped build an ecological house for the Akabe scouts, painted the school Stadsmus in Oudergem and constructed a playground for mentally challenged children, etc.More recently, Accenture engaged in an even bigger project: the development of an online matching application that allows Time4Society to bring TimeGivers and TimeTakers together faster and more efficiently than before. Thanks to its trilingual and permanently updated system, T4S can cross the nation’s borders. Time4Society cannot thank Accenture enough for this effective tool.www.accenture.com
